Frame-walk of New Home
As an accommodation to you, a Framing Walkthrough occurs after framing, rough electrical and plumbing are complete, but before drywall is hung. The purpose of this Walkthrough is to open communication between you and the construction staff, and to verify locations of selected options. Your neighbors will also have scheduled appointments during the day, thus scheduling is very tight at this time.
Due to the nature of the construction site, we suggest that you make arrangements for child care.
The Framing Walkthrough is designed to familiarize you with your new home. The Fieldstone Representative will explain and point out such features as:
- Building code requirements.
- Construction details - such as the floor joist system and the plumbing system.
- Materials use and compliance.
- Inspection process and timing by jurisdiction and third-party inspections.
- Pinpoint what has been roughed-in or installed.
- Answer all questions you may have.
- Verify Options Locations.
- Explain why specific locations of some Options, purchased in the HomeFitting® Center on a diagram, may be altered or adjusted if necessary when installed in the actual home.
- Verify Schedule Conformance.
- Review current construction schedule timing.
