Construction Process

What happens during the Framing Walkthrough and when is it scheduled?

As an accommodation to you, a Framing Walkthrough occurs after framing, rough electrical and plumbing are complete, but before drywall is hung. The purpose of this Walkthrough is to open communication between you and the construction staff, and to verify locations of selected options. Your neighbors will also have scheduled appointments during the day, thus scheduling is very tight at this time.

Due to the nature of the construction site, we suggest that you make arrangements for child care.

The Framing Walkthrough is designed to familiarize you with your new home. The Fieldstone Representative should explain and point out such features as:

The second part of the Walkthrough is a complete review of the Options you selected. The Fieldstone Representative should:

For your convenience, Fieldstone will allow pre-identified “Framing Walkthrough Options” to be added if you request them and if they can fit into the construction schedule. Options which may be added during the Framing Walkthrough are:

NOTE: Because of timing constraints, Fieldstone cannot agree to move electrical options which are already installed. You can ADD another electrical option in the location you prefer.

THE PRICE FOR ADDING ANY OPTIONS AT THIS TIME WILL BE GREATER THAN IF THE SAME OPTIONS WERE ORDERED AT THE HOMEFITTING® CENTER PRIOR TO THE STAGE TWO CUT-OFF DATE.

All changes must be approved in writing by the Buyer and Fieldstone.

Bring your checkbook to pay for available changes after the Walkthrough is completed. You must pay for these changes on-site at the end of your Framing Walkthrough.
