Home Buyer's Guide
Construction Process
Can I install my own cable jacks, phone lines or do any of my own work?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. If you or anyone acting on your behalf, install or change anything in the home and your installation or change is not to the applicable building code, the home may not pass inspection and delivery may be delayed. To protect the value of your home, as well as the home values of our other buyers, we do not allow any exceptions. Furthermore, any time buyers alter or add to their home, all warranties surrounding that change or addition become null and void. Any items such as your own cable jack and phone lines will have to be removed. In addition to the possible failure of the building upon code inspection, our insurance policy will not cover personal or property damages experienced due to homebuyer alterations and additions. We do not allow anything that might even remotely interfere with our Construction Schedule. To have one home affect this time schedule affects all of the homes in the manufacturing process we have established with our subcontractors and suppliers.
