What is HomeFitting?
HomeFitting® is a comprehensive home personalizing program designed to give you the freedom of choice in your new Fieldstone home. HomeFitting® allows you to choose from many No Cost options and Custom Choice options.
The HomeFitting® Program was designed to allow you, the homebuyer, to decide which features and amenities you want to include in your home. In the past, home builders predetermined everything that went into a home and did not give the buyer the ability to choose. Many buyers ended up paying for unwanted or unimportant items in their home. As a Fieldstone homebuyer, you will start with the selection of the lot location, floor plan, elevation, and room options. These are Stage One Options which must be selected at the time you sign your New Home Sales and Master Customer Agreements. (In some cases, due to construction schedules, these options will be pre-selected by Fieldstone.) As your home is being built, you will visit the HomeFitting® Center on subsequent occasions to select your Stage Two Options and Stage Three Options to further personalize your home. With Fieldstone the choice is yours!
Only those colors, patterns, styles and brands offered by Fieldstone may be ordered. We make every effort to offer a diversified selection in all categories. The HomeFitting® Center, staffed with qualified and knowledgeable professionals, will help you with your selection process.
Please understand that installed colors and patterns may vary slightly from selections. Slight variations in color and appearance are unavoidable due to variations in manufacturing processes and the installation process.
On those occasions when buyers purchase our homes after we have advanced our construction to the point when decisions on colors, patterns and other items have been selected, we do not have the ability to change those selections. Those buyers will need to be comfortable with the selections that have been previously made.
Note: If the home that you select has been pre-plotted and/or construction has been started, HomeFitting® may not apply.
Definitions:
- Standard Feature: Amenities or features in your home that are included in the purchase price of the home.
- No Cost Choice: A standard feature offered in your home where there is more than one choice or color selection for that feature.
- Option Choice: An optional feature available as an upgrade for your home at an additional cost.
