Home Buyer's Guide
The Sales Process
Estimated Completion Date
In the Seller's Notice, you will find the “Estimated Closing Date.” This refers to the date that your new home is projected to be ready for occupancy. This date is our best estimate. In other words, we have anticipated that all activities will flow smoothly without interruption and/or delays. The many factors - weather, material deliveries, labor disputes, scheduling conflicts, inspection delays, etc. - that influence the completion of your new home vary widely.
The Estimated Closing Date is an estimate and not a firm commitment.
Approximately 3 to 4 weeks prior to the scheduled completion date and Final Homeowner Orientation, the Fieldstone Construction Field Team will conduct the final quality inspection to determine the completeness and quality of your home. A final checklist will be developed and a determination is made as to the final delivery schedule of the home, as well as its completeness.
