Home Buyer's Guide
The Sales Process
What is HomeFitting?
Fieldstone has designed the HomeFitting® program to provide you with an opportunity to personalize your new Fieldstone home with a number of specific features. (See HomeFitting® Section for more details.)
- Stage One Options affect the building permits and structural components of your home and must be specified at the time you meet with your Sales Counselor to execute the New Home Sales and Master Customer Agreements. The timing of these selections is very early in the process to provide appropriate time for ordering materials and scheduling of subcontractors for efficient building of your home.
- Stage Two Options, which relate to such components as cabinets, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures and tub/shower enclosures, are chosen at the Fieldstone HomeFitting® Center and must be completed by the cut-off date specified in your Master Customer Agreement. A HomeFitting Coordinator will contact you directly to set up an appointment.
- Stage Three Options, which relate to such components as flooring, closet organizers and window treatments, are chosen later in the HomeFitting® process, and must be completed by the cut-off date specified in your Master Customer Agreement. The Stage Three Options are chosen at the Fieldstone HomeFitting® Center, or on the flooring contractor's showroom.
