Fieldstone has built a strong reputation for building homes of the highest quality. Our subcontractors and suppliers are a carefully chosen part of our team. However due to the spectrum of variables involved it is not possible to build a perfect home. Every effort is made to maintain the highest standards of construction, which is why we stand behind our Home Builder's Limited Warranty ("Limited Warranty"), which includes a First-Year Performance Guarantee that contains additional standards relating to the 'fit and finish' or appearance of certain components of your home.
Outlined in this section are the warranty procedures and levels of responsibility. The programs Fieldstone offer, the manufacturer's coverage as well as the subcontractor's service obligations are explained throughout this section. Please review the emergency information and the buyer's responsibilities that are summarized below for future reference.
The Limited Warranty and First-Year Performance Guarantee are explained in detail in the following sections.
The Limited Warranty and other First-Year Performance requests are handled by a Fieldstone's Warranty Service Department utilizing its normal customer service procedures. You are encouraged to pursue any and all warranty or construction defect issues through these customer service procedures, as we believe these procedures provide the most efficient and reliable methods for responding to and addressing such issues. Please note that nothing in the Limited Warranty, or in any other document provided in conjunction with the sale of your new home diminishes any rights or obligations that you or we may have under California Civil Code sections 895 through 945.5 (Copies of these statutory provisions have been provided with the purchase contract.)
