Damage After Occupancy

Damage caused by the homeowner is excluded from coverage.

Damage due to ordinary wear and tear, lack of timely and proper maintenance and abusive or unreasonable use is excluded from coverage.

Defects and poor workmanship in items installed by anyone else other than Fieldstone, or its agents are excluded from coverage.

Damage to the backflow prevention valve in the sewer line from the house can be caused by drain cleaning machines. This damage is excluded from coverage.

Window tinting film and aluminum foil coverings for double-glazed windows will damage them and void the warranty as to such windows.

Improperly installed alarm systems on your windows could cause rain leaks, and void the warranty as to such damages.

Damage, injury or loss due to acts, elements or natural occurrences beyond our control is excluded from coverage. Damage of this nature is normally covered by homeowner's insurance. Contact your insurance agent within 24 hours from the time the damage occurred.

Secondary, incidental or consequential damages and bodily injury are excluded from coverage under the terms of the First-Year Performance Guarantee and the Limited Warranty. Damage of this nature is normally covered by homeowner's insurance. Contact your insurance agent within 24 hours from the time the damage occurred.
