First-Year Performance Guarantee

The First-Year Performance Guarantee provides separate standards relating to the 'fit and finish' or appearance of certain components of your home during the first year following the close of escrow. The First-Year Performance Guarantee is subject to its own terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions and you should review the First-Year Performance Guarantee section to evaluate its coverage.

Fieldstone guarantees the appearance items mentioned in this section to be free from cosmetic defects at the time of sale. A cosmetic defect is a material deficiency that is readily visible and substantial enough to affect the overall appearance of the item. An obscured or extremely minor deficiency is considered of 'no consequence' and to be within building industry standards.

The items can be easily damaged during your move. A thorough inspection should be made to determine their condition at the time of the Homeowner Orientation.
