First-Year Performance Guarantee - Fireplaces
Providing the fireplace was built in accordance with the plans approved by the Local Building Department, deficiencies may occur as follows:

| Fireplace or chimney does not draw | Fireplace should function properly except under unusual conditions such as temporary down drafts or wind, or where large obstructions, such as trees, interfere with air currents. | Correct fireplace or chimney to function properly except where external conditions, such as trees, are responsible for the problem and inform the homeowner that all fireplaces must have a source of outside air to maintain a draft in the chimney fireplace. Should be plumb and level within 1/4" in 4' and should perform within specs. |
