Fieldstone

"Fieldstone Foundation's Executive Learning Group was nourishment in a hungry season. I had been running nonprofits for so long that I thought there wasn't much I could learn in a day or a month. I was wrong! Not only were my peers wonderful teachers, but they also became very special friends. Thanks, Fieldstone!"

Crossroads and Turning Points

Crossroads and Turning Points

Given the constantly shifting nature of both our external and internal environments as well as the ever-increasing demands on nonprofit leadership, the Executive Leadership Series is designed to offer nonprofit executives regular opportunities for exposure to the latest management and leadership thinking as they face their own crossroads and turning points.  This annual series of free seminars is designed to lay the foundation for innovative nonprofit leadership by providing exposure to state-of-the-art organizational theories and practices and creating additional opportunities for networking and resource sharing within the nonprofit community.

Led by highly respected management executives and consultants who are leaders in their respective fields, this annually changing series of seminars offers insight into a wide range of organizational problems and issues. The Fieldstone Foundation is proud to announce we’ve chosen Managing Leadership Transitions as the theme for our “Crossroads and Turning Points” Executive Series in 2007. Normally held only in Orange County, we will also be presenting this series in San Diego and Utah. We will present a 4-part curriculum - a portfolio of resources and inspiring case studies that will empower executives and board members alike to be aware, start thinking, and act in preparation of a potential transition in your nonprofit. The four topics that will be highlighted are::

1. Managing Leadership Transitions – An Overview

2. Preparing Your Organization for Transition - Prepare

3. Succession Planning and Implementation - Pivot

4. Post-transition Management - Thrive
